In the Midwest, the main Endangered Species of concern is the Indiana Bat (Myotis sodalis). CSG biologists have experience inspecting sites for potential Indiana Bat habitat before a project begins. If sufficient habitat for bats is present, CSG will work the client to avoid bat surveys, where possible so that the project can move forward in a timely way. This may involve coordination with the US Fish & Wildlife Service to do non-flight season tree clearing or a finding of no-impact. CSG is capable of performing other endangered species surveys and habitat assessments for potential impact sites as well.
