SENIOR ECOLOGIST, PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Gerke has worked as an ecologist for over 26 years performing numerous environmental tasks including wetland delineation, 404/401 pernitting, design and construction, floral and faunal surveys, watershed projects, natural area restoration, permitting, erosion control, ecological inventories, streambank restoration, benthic macroinvertebrate sampling and related activities. Mr. Gerke utilizes Bio-engineering, Best Mangement Practices, Geographic Information Systems and other technology to solve environmental issues. His knowledge of wetlands, prairies, rare plants, native fauna, watersheds and natural systems and their restoration was often requested by various private organizations and governmental agencies in various Midwestern states. He has performed field work and is familiar with environmental permitting requirements for projects in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Tennessee, Louisiana and West Virginia.

As a Senior Ecologist and project manager at CSG, Mr. Gerke has experience specializing in natural resources management and regulatory compliance associated with commercial developments, solid waste facilities, mining and energy transmission. Examples of projects Mr. Gerke has managed include wetland delineation, 404/401 pernitting, design and construction, floral and faunal surveys, watershed projects, natural area restoration, permitting, erosion control, ecological inventories, streambank restoration and benthic macroinvertebrate sampling and similar projects as they relate to industry needs.
